Zac Lovell
Raised in Millard and Utah counties, Zac Lovell grew up close to the land — spending his summers working on his uncle's farm, where he learned what healthy soil, honest work, and a well-kept field look like. These lawns are his home turf, grown from the same ground and seasons he was.
Zac founded TOR Turf on a simple idea: Utah homeowners deserve fresh, farm-grown sod backed by honest service and fair prices. As a husband and dad of two boys, he builds lawns the way he'd want one for his own family — healthy, durable, and ready for bare feet, ball games, and backyard summers.

Nearly everything we sell is grown at our own mother farm in Idaho, with our newest variety coming through a partner farm in Colorado — all raised with sustainable practices that protect the local ecosystem.
Idaho — Our Mother Farm
Nearly all of our sod is grown at Legacy Farming, our mother farm in Idaho — two premium varieties of Kentucky Bluegrass, our Advantage Turf hybrid, Tall Fescue, and lush meadow grass, raised with the latest techniques to keep grass healthy, vibrant, and pest-free. We can also provide grass seed.
Colorado — Dog Tuff™
Our newest partnership brings dog-friendly, low-water Dog Tuff™ grass to Utah — coming soon.
